With July ending, so does our month of Silverlight. All-in-all I think it was an enjoyable experience, however we did start to run out of interesting ideas there towards the end. We've spent an entire month with a Microsoft technology and it's time to shift gears. This time we're going Apple with an entire month dedicated to iPhone tutorials.
Unlike the month of Silverlight, we actually have a reason for choosing the iPhone for this month. We've got one app in the store already and we're ramping up for the next one. We need to learn as much as we can about the iPhone, and what better way than to spend a month writing tutorials about it.

I think maybe 2-3 weeks might be a better idea instead of 1 full month of a particular topic; and you can always return to the topic at a later time (or continue with the topic if you have more ideas on hand).
just a thought and thank you for all the varied and wonderful tutorials on the site.

Thanks for the input! We'll see how this month goes, then we might have to shake things up a little.
