Remote security exception

Remote security exception

Hi.

Thought I would share this one that has had me stumped for a while, now.

I have a .Net app which spawns a bunch of remote objects on a "server" machine and any one of the client machines can access the objects it needs to perform tasks. My app can expose third party functionality through one of these remote apps.

The problem I have is that the latest third party app is itself using remoting. In order to receive event notifications I first have to create a local implementation of a third party interface and then pass it to a remote manager class which will subscribe it to a bunch of remote events. This is great except that everytime the remote app creates an event, there is a security exception because a remote hop to a remote hop puts the calling code in the Intranet zone and specialized deserialization is not allowed.

What is the best approach here? Can I mark my code such that security can be by-passed?

Any help would be appreciated.
