Icons are our forgotten friends. Every app needs them, but often times they are thrown in at the very end. Of course when building an app single handedly, you should not focus on such things when code needs to be written. But when it comes time to build a user interface, they are typically an after thought. Today, however, I will show you some pretty useful sites to find what you need quick.

When I was undergoing my search for tutorials about the iPhone UITableView object, I came across a great two-part video series that explained everything I needed to know.

I'm starting work on a new website, and I'm downright tired of my old hosting company. Their tools are cumbersome, their plans are undecipherable, and the level of spam email I get from them is reaching impressive levels. I've watched as a variety of people, including the SOTC guys (Red, Tall, and "Fat") have migrated from shared hosting, to dedicated hosting, to even larger dedicated hosting, and it just looks like a miserable high-effort experience to me.

For everyone out there interested in Silverlight, I would recommend checking out the Sparkling Client audio podcast. Most of their podcasts are focused on Silverlight, but they do talk about other RIA technologies.

Considering that this website is based around creating easy to follow and useful tutorials, I decided to share the places I go for Flex tutorials and information. Now of course the number one place I would go to find Flex tutorials would be this site, but you already knew that.

If you call yourself a web surfer, you've no doubt seen the "You Suck at Photoshop" series of tutorials created by Donnie Hoyle. The narrator, to me, sounds a lot like Dane Cook. If you don't agree, check it out for yourself on Wikipedia. If you search for Donnie Hoyle, Dane Cook comes up at a whopping 98.1% relevance. You just can't argue with numbers like that.
