I am looking for a good intro into setting up a mac for web development. Also I am wondering if everyone just simply uses TextMate or if there is any other ide/text editors people use.

The answer is to remote desktop into a Windows machine running Visual Studio. There are no alternatives.

You need to understand I don't use Visual Studio on a daily basis. Microsoft ho.
