    problem solved without changing the size. I simply removed the attribute "width: 66px;" and made it "padding: 5px 33px 5px 33px;" and it now works smoothly. So I suppose the width attribute was the problem here.

    If I made the button smaller would that help? I've noticed on yours and some others it's thin and doesn't do that.

    http://www.invisionblue.com/lab/scrollhorizontal/slider_test.html how come when I click the orange scroller it moves about 30-40 pixels to the right?
