Here is a short video tutorial on how to setup an iPhone application to load in any orientation (landscape in this case) and with the status bar hidden. You can grab a sample project below.

This was done but then if I add an image background to the app, the background image is not in landscape format, but instead in portrait mode including the buttons or labels.

How do we then code for the images, buttons and labels to be in landscape as well!?
